Don’t go hungry, the food will be amazing, sourced locally where possible with loads of veg to keep you healthy. Did you know that fibre is our natural detox? All food planned and prepared by Alice (Naturopath and Nutritional Therapist) who will happy to accommodate any special dietary requirements as long as she knows in advance.
Never done meditation, don’t worry. Tiffani will take us on deeply relaxing meditative journeys after the evening yoga. “Tiffani has taken me to places of relaxation I’ve not dreamed of before”, Alice. You may sleep, you might go to places you’ve not visited before, no worries you will be safe and nurtured by everyone at Alvasjon.
Do you love swimming? Or like to lie on the beach? Would you prefer to warm yourself in the sauna? Or you can do all 3? Swim to the pontoon or further if that’s what you love. The lake allows for keen open water swimmers to stretch out and relax as it’s a kilometre across.
Is running your thing? Or do you prefer to take things at a more leisurely pace? Either way, immerse yourself in the forest running or walking on your own or with others.
Don’t want to swim, then why not get out on the water with a rowing boat or Canadian canoe?
Not confident off-road, don’t worry, it’s great. Alvasjon was my first time and I just loved it. There are plenty of bikes here (and helmets), all in good condition and designed specially for the terrain.
Relax in the sauna after a swim in the lake, what could be better? Enjoy this beautiful sandy beach when the sun is shining or the sauna when it’s not quite so warm.
All the kit is there, rowing boats and rods. Why not give it a go? On a calm day there could be nothing better than sitting out with a rod on the lake.
